I remember Peter told the Gentile audience who had not seen Jesus that they believe and they rejoice with great joy and they love Jesus.
Grant that I may readily accept the testimony of those who have seen Jesus and rejoice that the faith has been handed down for I have come to believe that eternal life is to know Jesus and the One who sent Him. Jn 3.1-2
