Lectio: : 3 Jn 5-8
Meditatio: "they have testified to your love before the church. Please help them in a way worthy of God to continue their journey." 3 Jn 5

Oratio: "O God, You have always been good to us and You rightly expect that we will be good to others and especially for those who do Your work.

I remember John urged the people to support the missionaries so that the Good News would be spread and by their help they would play a material role in spreading it.

Grant that I may readily support the missionaries with contributions and prayers as a way of thanking You for the Good News I have received.

I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "help them"; provide food, shelter, money; in prayer thank God for the many missionaries who have devoted their lives to spread the Good News and for the grace to have a generous heart and support their efforts with money and prayers.
