Lectio Lk 6.43-49

Meditatio: "But the one who listens and does not act is like a person who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the river burst against it, it collapsed at once and was completely ruined.” Lk 6.49

Oratio: O God, Jesus made it very clear as to why we should act on His words and not simply listen to them and likened the latter to building a house without a foundation. Pray that the foundation of your faith will be teachings of Jesus.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with.  You.
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
 
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “listens...not act...house...without a foundation”; if we desire to live this life in confidence, we need to make the foundation of our life - Jesus. Seek the grace to love and serve Jesus and listen to.  Him and act on.  His words and you will have a solid foundation for this life and for the next.
