8.10.15
Lectio: Mt 18.1-5, 10, 12-14
Meditatio: “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” Mt 18.4
Oratio: O God, You know we all seek to be recognized and Your recognition of us is the most important. Jesus made it clear and quite simple what we must do - be humble. Pray to realize, as a child does, that we have no rights, no power before God and that all is grace and live that way and God will be pleased.
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.
Operatio: reflect: “humbles...child...greatest”; humility it the key to greatness in the mind of God. Seek the grace to be humble like a child and strong by living as a child of God and we will be great in the mind of the only One who counts.
Tomorrow's reading: Mt 18.15-20
