Lectio: Jgs 13.2-7,24-25a
Meditatio: "An angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, ‘Though your are barren and have had no children, you will conceive and bear a son’." Jgs 13.3
Oratio: "O God, You always care for us even when we do not care for you.
I remember You caused Samson to be born of a barren woman for he would be the one who would lead captive Israel in their time of great need. all peoples.
Grant that I may be eternally grateful for the greatest One You caused to be conceived in the womb of Mary; and for the grace to bask win the fruits of His coming.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: reflect on "angel": a pure spirit; good and bad ones; the good ones are messengers from God to us and also are guardians of us; in prayer thank God for our guardian angel and for the grace to always listen to our angels promptings.
