1.11.15

 Lectio:  Mk 1.14-20                                           

Meditatio: "This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mk 1.15

 Oratio: O God,   Jesus’ first proclamation was a startling one and certainly a great attention getter. I remember He announced Your kingdom is at hand and He gave His listeners what they had to do to participate.. In prayer seek to repent all wrongdoing and be a strong believer in the Good News that Jesus brought.

 I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
 and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

 Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what 
 God is saying to you.

 Operatio: reflect:"fulfillment...kingdom....repent....believe”; Jesus coming and His ministry was all about the Kingdom and what those who wished to be part of I t h ad to do - repent and believe. Seek the grace to do both and urge my loved ones and those whose lives I touch to do the same so Jesus coming will not have been useless for me and for them.
