 Lectio: Mk 1.21-28                                                      

Meditatio: "All were amazed and asked one another, ‘What is this? A new teaching with authority. He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey him’:” Mk 1.27

 Oratio: O God,   You gave Your Son such charisma so that people would more readily listen to Him.

I remember You gave Hun authority over unclean spirits and He exercised it in front of His hometown crowed and they were amazed at His authority and preachings, In prayer seek to be open to Jesus’words found in Sacred Scripture for He backed up His words with display of power beyond the ability of man. In that openness the words meant for our salvation will be unearthed and we will greatly benefit.

 I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
 and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

 Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what 
 God is saying to you.

Operatio: teaching...authority....spirits....obey”; Jesus taught with authority and supported it with His miraculous powers. Seek the grace to put Jesus’ words into practice for that is why He came and that is how He wants us to change so that we will be part of the kingdom of God forever.
