8.05.12
Lectio: Dn 7.9-10,13-14
Meditatio: "As the vision continued, during the night, I saw One like a son of man coming on the clouds of heaven. When he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him.” Dn 7.13
Oratio: " O God, in Your great kindness You foretold through Your prophet Daniel the coming of Your Son for our salvation.
I remember Daniel described Him as the ‘son of man’ who was presented to You and through whom we are saved for You gave Him dominion over all.
Grant that I may be ever grateful to You and reflect it by willingly and lovingly serving Your Son.
I ask this an all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: reflect on "Ancient One”; God, Father of the Son of Man; in prayer give thanks and praise and honor to the Ancient One and thank the Son of Man for redeeming us.
Tomorrow's reading: Jer 30.1-2,12-15,18-22
