Lectio: :Mt 7.7-12

Meditatio: "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened." Mt 7.7

Oratio: "O God, You want us to approach You with our needs.

I remember Your Son told the crowds their prayers will be answered if they persevere.

Grant that I may bring my needs to You and allow You, like a loving Father, to answer them as You know best and when it is best.

I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the

Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: reflect on "ask, seek,find"; action verbs; the how to approach God in prayer; seek the grace to always persevere in prayer knowing our Heavenly Father hears and will answer them.
