Lectio: :Lk 6.36-38
Meditatio: "Be merciful, just as [also] your Father is merciful." Lk 6.36
Oratio: "O God, You made us in Your image and You want us to imitate You in our actions.
I remember Your Son urged us to be merciful as You are merciful.
Grant that I may be always willing to forgive and to give generously for that is how You show us Your mercy.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the
Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: reflect on "merciful": compassionate; a giving and forgiving person; in prayer ask for the grace to live a child God and then to live as such with mercy being my guiding principle.
