Lectio - Mt 13.31-35

Meditatio: “The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed with three measures of flour until the whole batch was leavened.” Mt 13.33

Oratio: "O God, nothing You do is half-way.

I remember Jesus described your Kingdom like a yeast which a woman kneaded in three measures of wheat - a huge amount- enough to feed 100 people - showing the great effect that Your kingdom will have.

Grant that I may imitate You and wholeheartedly give of myself in service to You kingdom so that Your kingdom will come on earth as it is in heaven.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will reflect on the performances of my duties and address those areas where I am simply going through the motions.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mt 13.36-43
