11.17.14
Lectio: Lk 19.1-10
Meditatio: “So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way.” Lk 19.4
O God, You want all who seek You to find You.
I remember Zacchaeus was small of stature so he climbed a tree in order to see Jesus. For doing so Jesus visited his house and ate with him and proclaimed salvation to him and his household. In prayer seek help to remember that Jesus came to save those who were lost and then seek the grace to help .those who are seeking Jesus to find Him. In doing so, Jesus will be our Lord and Savior.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.
Operatio: reflect: "climbed....see Jesus”; by His desire Zacchaeus came to see Jesus in the flesh and Jesus proclaimed salvation. . Seek the grace to see Jesus in those whom we serve and we will be blest by His presence - now and forever. May all be so blest.
Tomorrow's reading: Lk 19.11-28
