11.29.14

Lectio:  Mk 13.33-37                                         

Meditatio: "Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come.” Mk 13.33  

Oratio: O God, no one knows when the end of the world will come; but it will and we pray for it every day.               

I remember Your Son told His disciples that they do not know when the time will be come and so He urged them to stay alert and by implication do those things that you ought. In prayer live each day to live  in accord with the Gospel of Love and you will be ready when Jesus comes again whether at the end of time or at the end of your life time.
        
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "Be alert....not know when”; Jesus commanded us to be watchful and alert for we do not know when He will come again except He will. Seek the grace ti live each day as though it were the last one and strive to do what Jesus would do;  and you will be as ready to meet  the Lord requires of us                            .
