Lectio: Lk 21.20-28

Meditatio: "There will be signs in the sun, the moon, and the stars, and on earth nations will be in dismay, perplexed by the roaring of the sea and the waves." Lk 21.25 

Oratio: O God, how awesome it will be when Your Son comes again!

I remember Jesus said we would be "perplexed" by the many physical signs and events at His coming. Pray that awe and love and not fright and fear be our reactions when Jesus comes whether at the end of time or at the end of our life time for that is how You want Your children to be.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "signs...nations...perplexed"; Jesus' second coming will be announced by physical world so that all will know that He is at hand; seek the grace of joy at the prospect of His coming for that is what it should be for His siblings.
