6.15.15

 Lectio: Mt 5.43-48

Meditatio: “You have heard it was said,  ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you.” Mt 5.43-44

Oratio: O God, Jesus instructed His followers on how they are to relate. The bottom line we are to love all even our enemies. Pray that the Great Law of Love will also be your guiding principle for that is what Jesus expects and that is what we ought to do.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "love...hate...love...enemies”; Jesses taught and gave the guiding principle in all our relationships with both friends and foe.  Seek the grace to love all and then know you can do as you will.

 Tomorrow's reading: Mt 6.1-6, 16-18
