Lectio -Lk 24.1-12

Meditatio: “but their story seemed like nonsense and they did not believe them.” Lk 24.11

Oratio: "O God, why are we so slow to believe?

I remember the disciples did not believe the women’s story of their encounter with the 2 angels at the empty tomb and what would become the tenet of our faith, ‘He h as been raised.’

Grant that I may have an open heart and mind and readily believe in the good news of Jesus Christ.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, I will strive to reflect in my actions my belief in Jesus.
