Lectio - Jn 20.11-18

Meditatio: “Jesus said to her, ‘Mary!’ She turned and said to him in Hebrew, ‘Rabbouni’ which means ‘Teacher’.” Jn 20.16

Oratio: "O God, you reveal yourself in many wonderful ways for our salvation.

I remember your resurrected Son revealed himself to Mary Magdalen by calling her by name; and she became the first apostle of the good news.

Grant that I may always recognize your Son in the breaking of the bread and be Eucharist for others.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Throughout this day I will be look for and listen to Jesus in my life.
