Lectio - Mt 28.8-15

Meditatio: “telling them to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him while wewere asleep’.” Mt. 28.13

Oratio: "O God, how devious the human heart.

I remember the chief priests and elders, to protect their interests, had the good news of the resurrection portrayed as simpy a case of a stolen body - how sad for their people who longed for the coming of the Messiah.

Grant that I may have a heart that is without guile so others can rely on me.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: To strive to always ‘Yes” when I mean “Yes” and say “No” when I mean “No.”

Happy Easter, Everyone! This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad!

Operatio: Throughout this day I will be mindful of the Holy Spirit and ask Him to enlighten me.

Tomorrow’s selection is from Mt 28.8-15
