Lectio - Jn 6.30-35

Meditatio: “For the bread of God is that which came down from heaven and gives life to the world.” Jn 6.33

Oratio: "O God, you give us signs so that we may believe.

I remember Jesus declared that the bread of life came down from heaven and gave life to the world and he declared that he was that sign calling himself “the bread of life.”

Grant that I may partake of the Eucharist frequently so that my faith will always be nourished.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Today, when I receive the Eucharist, I will give thanks to Jesus for satisfying my thirst and hunger.
