Lectio:  Mt 16.24-28                                                                                 

Meditatio: "Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me'." Mt 16.24
                                                                
Oratio: O God, I remember Your Son gave us the key to finding Him and You - deny one self and do Your will for that is the meaning of the cross. May I have the grace to do so for it means life everlasting with You and Your Son
       
Contemplatio:  spend a few minutes in silence and reflect on these words of Scripture.


Operatio: reflect"deny...take up...cross"; deny - recognize not; take - to do;  selfless love fulfills both commands of Jesus. In prayer seek the grace to do both always and you will be a true follower of Jesus and He will save your life for all eternity.
