10.03.14

Lectio:  Lk 10.17-24

Meditatio: "Turning to his disciples in private he said, ‘Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it’.” Lk 10.23-24

Oratio: O God, what a privilege You have given us!

I remember we have been privileged to be disciples of Your Son and to have His teachings and His works proclaimed to us so that in hearing, we may believe; and believing have eternal life. In prayer thank God for the great privilege of being a disciple of Jesus and for the grace to live as He wants us to live..

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect:"disciples....Blessed....see...hear”; Jesus declared to His disciples the great privilege they have in being His disciples and seeing and hearing all He did.. In prayer thank God that we are disciples of Jesus and for the grace to always act as one.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 21.33-43
