Jn 15.-17
Meditatio: “This is my commandment: love one another as I love you.” J n 15.12
Oratio: "O God, You so much want us to be like You.
I remember Your Son made it clear that we would be like you if we simply love others as Your love us.
Grant that I may strive to love the other with an unconditional love for that is most pleasing to You and it is also what You ask of us.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Reflect: “love”; an affection; an act of the will which seeks the good of the other for the other’s sake and not for what you might get out of it; this is the love that God has for us; this it the love we should have for others. Seek the grace to be a selfless lover.
