3.20.14
Lectio: Mt 21.33-43. 45-46
Meditatio: "Jesus said to them, ‘Did you never read in the scriptures: “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; by the Lord has this been done, and it is wonderful in our eyes”? Mt 21.42
Oratio: "O God, how You bring good out of bad!
I remember Jesus told a parable which was aimed at the failure of the religious leaders of Israel and despite their making the parable a true story for they would have him arrested and put to death - the fate of the son in the parable, Jesus fulfilled the role of Psalm 118 and became the cornerstone of our faith. Seek the grace to always rejoice in our Lord and God and always give Him our full allegiance.
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what.
God is saying to you
Operatio: “stone... rejected...cornerstone”; Jesus is that stone, rejected by the religious leaders who became and remains the cornerstone of our faith; in prayer thank Jesus for being so willing to forgive us and leading us to ways everlasting as His Father desires.
Tomorrow's reading: Lk 15.1-3, 11-32
