4.14.15

 Lectio:  Jn 3.16-21

Meditatio: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life.” Jn 3.16

Oratio: O God, how You love us!

I remember You gave us Your only Son to suffer and die for us so that we might have eternal life. In prayer reflect your belief in Jesus and that you will act on what He wants of us for that is why God, in His great love for us, sent Him.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying.

Operatio:  reflect:”God...loved....world...gave....Son”; love is in the giving and what a gift God gave us - His Son.. Seek the grace of a strong faith and an active response to that faith so that Jesus’ coming may have the effect that God wants for us - eternal life.

 Tomorrow's reading: Jn 3.31-36
