5/08/12 Acts 15.7-21 Meditatio: ""on the contrary, we believe that we are saved through the grace of our Lord, Jesus Christ, in the same way as they." Acts 15.11 Oratio: "O God, how wonderfully You have guided us in the New Way established by Your Son! I remember Peter, inspired by Your Spirit, proclaimed that is not the dietary laws of Moses by which we are saved, but by the grace of Your Son. Grant that I may always be grateful that it is by grace we are saved and reflect that gratitude by loving You, others and self. I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.” Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes. Operatio: "grace;" help, favor, gift, from God; in prayer thank God for all the many graces I have received and especially the grace of salvation. Tomorrow's reading: Acts 15.22-31
