2.27.14

Lectio:   Mk 10.1-12

Meditatio: ”Therefore what God had joined together, no human being must separate.”
 Mk 10.9

Oratio: O God, You desire that the marriage between a man and a woman be permanent.

I remember Jesus declared that it was only because of the hardness of hearts that Moses permitted the Israelites to divorce; but that is not Your intention, present nor from the beginning.

Grant that I may uphold the permanence of marriage; support  couples who are struggling; and prepare well those who are contemplating marriage for in the permanency of their love they will discover and rejoice as that is  how God loves them.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what.
God is saying to you

Operatio: reflect"God...joined...no... must separate”; God ordained the permance of marriage from the beginning; and couples are to mirror Christ’s love for us in their love. Since Christ’s love is always there for us, a married man’s and woman’s love should be the same; and the couple will be richly blest if it is and so will we be blest by their love.
