9.2.12 Lectio: 1 Cor 2.1-5 Meditatio: "so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.” 1 Cor 2.5 Oratio: " O God, You want us to know You and the truth. I remember Paul declared that our faith rests on true wisdom - Yours. Grant that I may always accept the faith proclaimed by the Catholic Church as its Pope and its bishops in union with him are guided in the way of truth by Your Holy Spirit. I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes. Operatio: Reflect on "wisdom”; supreme knowledge of the sublime; in prayer thank God for making known His wisdom by sending His Son to establish His kingdom here on earth.
