9.17.12
Lectio: 1 Cor 12.12-14,27-31a
Meditatio: "Strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts.” 1 Cor 12.31a
Oratio: " O God, You have wonderfully called us to be close to You.
I remember Paul wrote to the Corinthinians that we are all one in Christ for we are all parts of His body - unbelievable but true!
Grant that I may always seek the greatest gifts so as to be in the best part of the body of Christ I can be.
I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: Reflect on "spiritual gifts”; loves is the greatest for God is love; in prayer seek to develop the gifts the potential of which He has placed in you so as to the best for the body of Christ which in turn gives honor, glory and praise to God.
Tomorrow's reading: 1 Cor 12.31-13.13
