Lectio: Jn 10.11-18

Meditatio: “I am the good shepherd. A good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." Jn 10.11

Oratio: O God, You provide for us in a most kind and generous way!

I remember Your Son told His followers that He is the Good Shepherd who gives His all for the good of the sheep ( us) and even lays down His life for us and He did and He took it up again so that we, too, would have life without end. Seek the grace to be a good sheep to show your gratitude fo the Good Shepherd.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "good shepherd"; what a beautiful image! Watchful, protective, nourishing, loving care! In prayer seek the grace of a grateful heart for such a God who loves us so!
