 Lectio: Mt 6.19-23             

Meditatio: “For where you treasure is, there will your heart be.” Mt 6.21                      

Oratio: O God, You know how easily we can lose sight of the most important things in life.     

I remember Jesus warned us that where our treasure - our focus is- there will be our heart and He knew that the good things of our lives could become our goal rather eternal life and our real treasure -  God, Himself; in prayer seek the grace to keep our hearts set on the only treasure which will satisfy us - God -  and act accordingly.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence and meditate on the selected passage and hear what
God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: "where...treasure...your heart”; you goals in life will determine your actions; in prayer seek the grace to seek the kingdom of God first and all things will fit into proper place.
