Lectio: Mk 10.32-45

Meditatio: “For the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mk 10.45

Oratio: "O God, for You, greatness lies in service.
I remember Jesus told His disciples that His mission was to serve and to give His very life - for our salvation.

Grant that I may seek greatness through serving others and giving of myself for them.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect on how well I am doing in seeking greatness in the pattern of Jesus? The standard is so simple, the doing is so contrary to our nature.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mk 10.46-52
