3/31/11

Lectio: Mk 12.28-34

Meditatio: “And to love him [God] with all your heart, with all your understanding, with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” Mk 12.33

Oratio: "O God, You have made it so easy for us to know how to worship you.
I remember Jesus did not say that we had to keep hundreds of regulations but we simply had to love
You with our whole being and share that love with others for that is all You want from us.

Grant that I may love You always and then do with me what You will.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect on God’s call to love - Are there any whom I exclude? If so, work at
including them knowing that since God loves me, I must share that love with those He also loves.

Tomorrow’s reading - Lk 18.9-14
