Lectio: Mk 11.11-26

Meditatio: “When you stand to pray, forgive anyone against whom you have a grievance so that your heavenly Father may in turn forgive your transgressions.” Mk 11.25

Oratio: "O God, above all you desire we show mercy and forgive others. I remember Jesus made it a condition when we pray for our needs, that we first forgive those for whom we have a grievance. He then went on and made it clear that a heart full of mercy and faith will receive what he/she prays for.

Grant that I may always be merciful as You are merciful.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect on my prayer life - Do I let go of the hurts received from others and forgive them before I ask for my own wants? Pray for an increase in mercy and in faith.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mk 11.27-33
