Lectio: Mt 10.7-15
Meditatio: “Without cost you have received; without cost you are to give." Mt 10.8b
Oratio:
O God, Your Son made it clear that the Good News is free. Pray to avoid
making a business out of religion so that the poor will always be
beneficiaries for the poor had a special place in Jesus' heart.
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.
Operatio:
reflect: “without cost...give"; our most precious worth was a gift and
we are to give it to others as a gift. Seek the grace to be Christ-like
in sharing the Good News and Jesus will be pleased.

Lectio: Mt 10.16-23
Meditatio: “But beware of people, for they will hand you over to courts and scourge you in their synagogues." Mt 10.17
Oratio:
O God, Your Son warned His disciples that they would be persecuted. And
they were and His followers continue to be even now. Pray that all may
persevere in the faith.
I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.
Operatio:
reflect: “hand over...scourge"; persecution is to be the lot of His
followers for His Way is not the way of the world. Seek the grace to be
always faithful.
