7.20.15

Lectio: Mt 12.46-50

Meditatio: “For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.” Mt 12.50

Oratio: O God, Your Son graciously made us members of His family by our doing Your will. Pray that our wills will always be in sync with Your Will for we so much want to be part of Jesus’ family forever.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “does....will...Father... is....my”; Jesus made it clear that He wants all of us to be members of His family; and in a manner that is closer than biological membership - doing His and our Father’s Will. Seek the grace to love always for that is the Father’s Will and it is the way to everlasting life as members of Jesus’ family.

Tomorrow's reading: Jn 20.1-2, 11-18
