7.23.15

Lectio: Mt 13.18-23

Meditatio: “But the seed sown on rich soil is the one who hears the word and understands it who indeed bears fruit and yields a hundred or sixty or thirty fold.” Mt 13.23

Oratio: O God, Your Son made the word known to all but not all received it and put it into practice. Pray to bear the fruit that Jesus expects of me.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what God is saying to you.

Operation: reflect: "rich soil...hear...bears...fruit"; Jesus desired that all would receive His word and bear fruit. Pray that your soil is rich and bears fruit which lasts.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 20.20-28
