7.21.15

Lectio: Jn 20.1-2, 11-18

Meditatio: “Jesus said to her, ‘Mary!’. She turned and said to him in Hebrew ‘Rabboni,’ which means Teacher.” Jn 20.16

Oratio: O God, You allow us to recognize You in many ways. Mary Magdala recognized Your Son when He spoke using her name. Pray to be always open to the many ways God reveals Himself, especially in the anawin.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God is saying to you.

Operatio: reflect: “Jesus...Mary...Rabboni...Teacher”; Jesus allowed Mary Magdala to recognize Him when He spoke her name and she became the first eye witness to the Risen Lord. Seek the grace to see Jesus in the sick, the poor, the oppressed, the outcast, for He is there and our finding Him will enable us to find Him forever in the kingdom.

Tomorrow's reading: Mt 13.10-17
