Lectio: Lk 16.9-15

“No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” Lk 16.15

“O God, You are devoted to us and You expect and You deserve reciprocity on our part.
I remember Jesus warned about trying to serve two masters - You and riches - and He said You can’t.

Grant that I may always give my full allegiance to You.

I ask this of You who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.

Operatio: Reflect on “mammon” - riches; the wealth that we control; a potential false God; Resolve to pray as though everything depended upon God and work as though everything depended on myself and this will keep the right balance in my life and assure that God alone is my Master and Him alone do I serve and love..

Tomorrow’s readings: Mt 25.1-13
