11/11/11

Lectio: Lk 18.1-8

“The he [Jesus] told them in a parable about the necessity to pray always without becoming weary. He said, “ Lk 18.1

“O God, You want us to pray continually to You and it is only right that we do so as for You having given us everything.

I remember Jesus told a parable about the necessity of praying always but He did not tell how.

Grant that I may begin each day with the ‘Morning Offering’ so that all that I do, all that I think, all that I say become a continual prayer to You.

I ask this of You who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever. Amen.

Operatio: Reflect on “the Morning Offering” - a prayer which offers all I do throughout my day as my way of giving praise, thanks and making reparation to God for all He does for me and which I acknowledge as my duty to give Him continual prayer.

Tomorrow’s readings: Mt 25. 14-30
