Lk 19.1-10
"So he [ Zaccheaus] ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus, who was about to pass that way.” Lk 19.4
"O God, You require so little effort of our part to find you.
I remember Zacchaeus simply climbed a tree to see Jesus, and Jesus invited Himself to dine at Zacchaeus house - what a reward for so little effort on his part.
Grant that I may realize that in time of darkness I will find You if I simply seek You with the abilities I have.
I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen
Operatio: Reflect on ‘faith” - aa gift from God; a confident hope in something unseen will be; a gift to be cherished, a gift to be nourished, a gift to be practiced; a gift in time of doubt. Resolve to pray always to cherish this gift and to practice it and to become immersed in it.
