Lk 17.11-19

"Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Lk 17.18
"O God, You do so much for us and You ask so little of us but You do not want us to take Your gifts for granted.

I remember Jesus healed ten lepers but only one returned to say, Thanks! - What ingrates the 9 were!

Grant that I may always have a grateful heart for all You have done for me and continue to do for me.

I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Operatio: Reflect on “thankfulness” - the right attitude of a receiver; the donee’s response to the donor; the reason for Thanksgiving Day; the reason for Eucharist. Pray for the grace to be a humble and grateful receiver and especially for the gift of Eucharist.
