11/26/11

Lectio:Mk 13.33-37

Meditatio: “Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come.” Mk 13.33

Oratio: "O God, You know how easily we get forget our ultimate goal in life -You.

I remember Jesus told His listeners to pay attention to what they are doing for they do not know when the end will come and He wants us to be found doing what we ought when He does come.

Grant that I may be attentive to who and to what is shaping my life and allow only God to be my Potter and what He wants to mold of me as clay in His hands.

I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”

Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.

Operatio: Reflect on “Be alert!” - attentive; with great care to what I am doing; for the end of life for me; for the entire world; Resolve to pray for the grace to be watchful of who and what is shaping my life and only allow myself to be molded by God- centered people.

Tomorrow’s reading - Mk 8.5-11
