Lk 21.5-11

"There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; and awesome sights and mighty signs will come from the sky.” Lk 21.11

"O God, things that are important for our salvation You reveal to us.

I remember Jesus proclaimed that He would come again but His second coming would be preceded by major physical events and human suffering.
Grant that I may not fear the end of time but prepare each day by doing His will.

I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Operatio: Reflect on “the 2nd Coming” - the parousia; the end of earth’s time; a time of awe and fright; a time of the Kingdom; Pray for the grace to prepare for the coming of Christ, whether it is at the end of time or at the end of my lifetime by doing God’s will each day.
