Mt 25.14-30

"and throw this useless servant into the darkness outside, where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth." Mt 25.30

"O God, You did not give all the same abilities but You do expect that we use the talents You gave us to build up the kingdom.

I remember Jesus told a parable about a master who gave his three servants 5, 2 and 1 talent respectively and told him he would see them when he returned.

Grant that I may realize the talent You gave me is so that I may play the part You want of me in Your plan of salvation even if I have virtually no talent.

I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen
