Lk 21.12-19

"By your perseverance you will secure your lives.” Lk 21.19
"O God, the end of time will be marked by Your followers standing trial for their faith in You with death for those who remain faithful.

I remember Jesus predicted this but He also assured us that if we persevere, we will have everlasting life - what a gift! A gift that the world cannot give!
Grant that I may always have the grace to be steadfast in my faith both in good times and in bad.

I ask this through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Operatio: Reflect on “perseverance” - steadfast; committed, characteristic of a martyr; characteristic of a believer. Pray always in thanksgiving for the gift of faith and for the grace to be faithful to it in all circumstances.
