Lectio: Lk 10.21-24
Meditatio: “At that very moment, he rejoiced [in] the the holy Spirit and said, ‘I give you praise, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, you have revealed them to the childlike’.” Lk 10.21
Oratio: "O God, You desire all to know You and made it especially easy for the ordinary person.
I remember Jesus gave You praise for revealing the kingdom and how to enter it to the childlike and in His prayer of praise, He revealed the wonderful truth of the Trinity,
Grant that I may always be grateful for the gift of faith which allows me to accept the Scriptures and the teachings of the Catholic Faith.
I ask this of You, who lives and reigns with Jesus and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.
Amen.”
Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes.
Operatio: Reflect on “childlike” - a disposition; a openness to truth; a state of humility; trusting; Pray to be childlike when it comes to matters of faith trusting that the gift God gives me will sustain me.
