8.10.12 Lectio: Hb 1.12-24 Meditatio: "The rash man has no integrity; but the just man, because of his faith, shall live. Wealth, too, is treacherous; the proud, unstable man.” Hb 2.4 Oratio: " O God, You allow evil to exist because You give us free will, without which we could not love and image You who are All-Love. I remember Your prophet, Habakkuk, repeated Your words to Your chosen people, that those who are just and live with faith and integrity, will triumph over the evil they were experiencing. Grant that I may have Your grace of right discernment and act with justice and integrity and with confidence in You. I ask these and all things through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Contemplatio: Keep silence and remain in recollection for a few minutes. Operatio: reflect on "integrity;" faithful to truth at your very core; “Yes” means “Yes” and “No.” and in prayer ask for the grace to live in right relationship with You, others and self for then I will achieve justice in my life as You desire. Tomorrow's reading: 1 Kgs 19.4-8
