10.06.15

Lectio: Lk 11.1-4

Meditatio: “He said to them, ‘When you pray, say:
Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our daily bread and forgive us our sins for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us, and do not subject us to the final test’.” Lk 11.2-4

Oratio: O God, Your Son responded to His disciples request to teach them how to pray with the beautiful Our Father. Pray to say it often and with meaning and feeling for it is the best prayer for me and for You from me.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operation: reflect: "pray...Father.”; Jesus not only taught us what to pray for gave us the privilege of calling God our Father. Seek the grace to pray as his child and to honor Him with the words that Jesus gave us..

Tomorrow's reading:Lk 11.5-13
