Lectio: Lk 11.15-26                 

Meditatio: “And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I drive out t demons." Lk  11.18

Oratio: O God, Your Son encountered people who were hard of heart for despite His power, they asserted that He was only able to cast out demons through the power of Satan - How sad! Pray to have an open heart and mind when it comes to matters of faith so that we may not miss out on the richness of it.                                     

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You                                                                             
and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operatio: reflect: "divided...by Beelzebul....drive...demons"; some of the crowd that followed Jesus used any reason to deny His divine power for if they accepted it, they would have to accept His teachings, which they were not prepared to do. Seek the grace to accept all the teachings of the Church and especially the ones that are hard for our faith has been established by Jesus and He would not let the Church it guide us in wrong ways.
