Lectio: Lk 11.27-28                             

Meditatio: “He replied, ‘Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it’.”
Lk 11.28                                                    

Oratio: O God, Your Son made it clear that all have the opportunity to achieve blessedness.  Pray to not only listen to the Word of God but to put it into practice for that is how true blessedness may be obtained.

I ask this and all things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You  and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

Contemplatio: spend some time in silence & meditate on the selected passage and hear what  God speaks to you,

Operatio: reflect: "blessed...hear...word...observe it”; hearing and observing the words of Jesus is the way to true blessedness for Jesus has revealed this path. Seek the grace to observe the teachings of Jesus for therein lies our life’s goal.
